SE Automation was founded in 2004 with a focus on Siemens automation products and enhanced technical support. "When we opened in 2004, SE Automation consisted of two application engineers. Now, in 2007 our staff has grown to nine people, including four application engineers, two account managers and three customer service specialists," said Mike Ubl, General Manager. The hiring of multiple new associates, along with the opening of the Eau Claire office reinforces SE Automation's presence in Wisconsin and their commitment to unparalleled customer service.
In addition, this new facility will be a combined effort between both Standard Electric Supply Co. and SE Automation.
"This office will focus on Siemens control, automation, and drive products. In addition, through Standard Electric Supply Co., the location will also stock complimentary products from companies such as Rittal Enclosures, Hubbell Wiring Devices, Red Lion, Woodhead, Thomas & Betts and several others," said Larry Stern, President of both companies.
The new office will be located at 4611 Anderson Drive in the Chippewa Valley Industrial Park. Remodeling is slated to begin in late May, and the location expects to be fully operational by July 1st, 2007.
"We will provide the same unique training, kitting, engineering and other services that have made SE Automation and Standard Electric Supply Co. leaders in the indutrial distribution market," said Ubl.
Standard Electric Supply Co., combined with SE Automation is a family-owned electrical distributor founded in 1919 with 11 locations serving Wisconsin, Illinois and Northwest Indiana. It currently has over 130 employees and $60 million in sales.
