Goyette Mechanical Service Co. of Flint has earned the Star rating of its trade association, Mechanical Service Contractors of America.

The rating is given to plumbing, heating and cooling service companies for meeting standards in training, product delivery and safety.

All of Goyette Mechanical's technicians are Star certified, or in the process to receive the certification. The company has to recertify regularly.

Goyette Mechanical Services has offices in Flint, Pontiac and Oscoda, and serves residential, commercial and industrial customers. The company was founded in 1928 by Leo Goyette, grandfather to the current president, Dominic Goyette.
