Mechanical problems blight Jamaican racing team

Guyana?s Andrew King thrilled the home fans by winning the championship title at the Caribbean and International Motor Racing meet at the South Dakota circuit on Sunday.
Driving a Mazda RX3, King sped to one victory and also copped a second and a third place finish to emerge the top performer at the meet.
Jamaican David Summerbell, the defending champion, had mechanical trouble with his Mitsubishi Evolution 6 and surrendered his title without much of a fight.
Peter Rae also suffered mechanical problems with his Mazda RX 7 and had one third place finish.
