The regional officials were met by Plant Director Mikhail Lebedev and Anatoly Buryy, Director General of Stroytekhnika Ltd, which is the investor of new production. They showed the workshop with new equipment to the guests.
Anatoly Buryy said that conveyer belts and cone belts will be made at the plant after launching of production. 'At present only one shop is working, where rubber mixture is made. In December, 2006 we will launch a device making raw rubber, which will give an opportunity to make up to 200 mt of rubber per month. We are going to sell rubber in Novokuznetsk for making high pressure hoses,' Anatoly Buryy explained. He added that it was planned to start using German equipment "Bersdorf" in cone belt making.
'Launching of production will allow getting up to $0.7-$1 million of monthly income with extension as our turnover enlarges at the market,' Buryy said.
Director General told they had already invested about $25 million into production. Stroytekhnika Ltd experts have worked out an investment plan for the mechanical rubber goods plant until 2010. Under the plan, $27 more million is supposed to be invested into production. According to Buryy, most of invested funds are borrowed. 'We are working with five or six banks now to attract the funds we need. We invest only 20-30% of our own money,' he explained.
Deputy-governor Vitaly Bobrov believes, 'Launching of the mechanical rubber goods plant after its bankruptcy is the first step to the development of the integral complex production. Such days are rare but always are a powerful incentive to positive dynamics in the economic development of the whole region.'
