The hospital's engineering services have to be maintained on a regular basis and this responsibility falls to a multi-disciplinary team comprising engineers, craftsmen and support staff.

Liaising throughout the team, you will manage planned maintenance, day to day repairs and modifications to our services and plant including the boiler house.

A source of expertise and advice, you will support your practical work with written reports whilst managing third party contracts and implementing backlog maintenance and other schemes.

With a HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), you will have significant experience within an engineering services management role and will be expected to take a lead in all your duties.

Flexible (you will be expected to contribute to our 24 hour on-call rota), you will have knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and excellent communication skills.

You will be expected to take a lead in all of your duties, and you must have the attitude and confidence to carry this out effectively.
