The Hai Phong Machinery Manufacturing J.S.C (HMMC) so far this year has exported 200 mechanical tools and other machinery to the United States market.
The company in 2005 earned 300,000 USD from exporting machines to the US market and expects to reach the one-million-USD level by 2007.
HMMC's products have gained a big share in the domestic market despite fierce competition from imported goods, and were also exported to Thailand and Taiwan.
Earlier this year, HMMC invested nearly one billion VND (roughly 62,500 USD) to build a modern centre to facilitate its manufacturing activities.
