A fine century by Riaz (100 from 48 deliveries) helped Bahrain Tamil Sangam CC notch a crushing 109-run victory over Nass Mechanical CC in an Alpha Fire Cup match organised by Bahrain Cricket League.

Batting first, Bahrain Tamil Sangam lost opener Siraj early in the innings, but the side raced to an impressive 227 for six thanks to a big partnership by Riaz and Shiju (71 from 37 balls).

Nass Mechanical CC in reply lost wickets at regular intervals and were all out for 118 with Peter claiming five for 30.

Coca-Cola CC defeated Vision Unique CC by 20 runs after scoring 176 for nine with Raj (58) and Ramesh (33) being the main scorers, while Ramesh (four for 30) was the pick of the Vision Unique CC bowlers.

An unbeaten century by Naveed (102) steered Meeran Garage CC to a nine-wicket victory against Golden Fire CC who were bowled out for 164 with Irfan claiming five for 33.

Standard Chartered Bank CC defeated Rabia Palace Trading CC by three wickets. The highlight was Haroon capturing six for 28 to restrict Rabia Palace to 147 for nine.

Bongio Samaj CC recorded a 24-run victory over Golden Neon CC.
