C&C Mechanical gets Midget girls win

C&C Mechanical scored seven runs in the second inning and then held on to defeat Pizza Inn 9-5 on Tuesday in Midget girls softball action at the Jim Buck Goff Recreation Complex.
Mikki Noble and Kaytlyne Jarvis scored two runs each for C&C Mechanical.
Shan Smith had two hits and scored one run for Pizza Inn.
In today’s Midget schedule, Gay’s Tire Service will face Pizza Inn at 6:30 p.m.
In Mite girls play on Tuesday, Reynolds Construction downed Fuller’s 18-9 in a slugfest.
Taylor Owens led the Reynolds attack with two home runs and three runs scored.
Ashleigh Childs and Bailey Brewer also scored three times each.
Nikki Leddon went 2-for-2 and scored a pair of runs for Fuller’s.
In the Mite League nightcap, Crystal River Environmental outgunned VFW 19-3.
Cheyenne Sumner had two home runs and scored three times for Crystal River.
Makeba Ponder and Hanna Friedlander had home runs and also scored three times.
Courtney Terrell also scored three runs for Crystal River.
Abbie Weeks hit a home run for VFW.
In Tiny Mite play, Hunnicutt Farms outlasted Crustal River Environmental 17-12.
Madison Robinson and Lexi Price each homered and scored three runs for Hunnicutt Farms.
Allison Mills also hit a home run and scored twice.
Christy Crosby, Kaylea Presley, Savannah Boozer and Amy Baillargeon scored twice each for Crystal River.
In the second Tiny Mite game, Dairy Queen held off A&S Rents in a 17-15 marathon.
Rebekah Ward led the Dairy Queen attack with a home run and three runs scored.
Diana Durham, Amber Johnson and Hayli Spradley also homered and scored two runs each.
Summer Watson, Kali Summerlin and Shawna Beaver scored three runs each for A&S.
Erica Summerlin homered an scored two runs.
In the final game on Tuesday, the Troubleshooters avenged their only loss of the season in Major girls play with an 8-3 victory over Beason Equipment.
Kaylee Clark, Camille James and Elizabeth Davis each had a triple and scored a run for the Troubleshooters.
In Major girls action today, Crystal Pharmacy will face Northside Towing at 7:45 p.m.
