SAMSA (http://www.samsa.com) recently finished up an exciting, six week programming project for Tannas Company located in Midland, Michigan. Jim Neveau of SAMSA performed the programming work that resulted in this innovative program.

Tannas Co. (http://www.savantgroup.com/tannas.sht) is a member of the Savant Group of companies. Their client types range from Oil Producers, Oil Blenders, Lubricant Additive companies, Automakers, Independent Testing and Research Laboratories, Higher Learning Institutions, and others involved in the oil and lubricants industry.

This new version of the Quantum Oxidation Test is particularly exciting for Tannas, as the program was written with state-of-the-art Microsoft.Net development techniques. The program user interface includes the capability to view or print charts from testing results, as well as the capability to load result files from previous test runs.

The Quantum program also features a new demonstration mode that will allow Tannas more flexibility in demonstrating the software for potential customers in the future.

“This project was fun to do. Generally SAMSA performs programming projects that have to do with business data. This project allowed us to tap into new horizons and design a program for scientific and mechanical data,” states Jim Neveau.
