Iron Man Will Be More Mechanical Than High Tech! - February 6th 2006
7th February, 2006
A story at Hollywood North Report is suggesting that the long rumoured "Iron Man" movie is back in development with Nick Cassavetes back on board to helm the movie.
Nick Cassavetes had previously been linked to the project a while back, before it was put back on the shelf.
He is quoted as saying that the Iron Man being developed for the movie will be more mechanical than high tech, and that the costume could be compared to a "flying tin can".
We have been waiting for this movie for years on this site, but we're not sure what to make of this comment. We certainly don't want to see a below par version of the costume, then again, we also don't want to see an over the top CGI driven look that includes needless accessories either.
I'll guess we'll just have to wait for some more time to pass before we can make adequate judgement on how this could turn out.
