Tata Motors (Q, N,C,F)* Ltd and INCAT has acquired CEDIS Mechanical Engineering GmbH, a Stuttgart, Germany-based provider of automotive engineering and design services to some of the world`s leading manufacturers.

This expands the presence of INCAT in Germany, and in Europe overall, with proven competencies in engineering and design, as well as in CATIA`s support. Further, this acquisition - as well as the company`s 2005 acquisition of Rand France S.A. - diversifies the INCAT client base and positions INCAT to widen its PLM consulting and support services offerings`.

The top CEDIS clients include Johnson Controls, DaimlerChrysler, MAHLE, Modine Europe, Eberspacher, ORIS, Lear Corporation, Mercedes AMG, Alpine Electronics, BOS and others.

Shares of Tata Motors were last traded on BSE at Rs 639.10, up by 0.50 per cent.
