CHIDAMBARAM: Annamalai University Vice-Chancellor Dr L B Venkatrangan inaugurated the 21-day UGC refresher course on ‘‘Recent trends in air-conditioning & refrigeration systems’’ on Monday.

The course was organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering, FEAT, Annamalai University.

Dr G Kamaraj, Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the course, welcomed.

Prof B Palaniappan, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Annamalai University, delivered the presidential address, said that the course would give the participants new ideas in the field of air-conditioning and refrigeration.
