Antonov says terms agreed for production of AMM supercharger drive

LONDON (AFX) - Antonov PLC said it has agreed terms for the production of its Antonov Mechanical Module supercharger drive with its manufacturing partner Neue ZWL Zahnradwerk, in response to an initial purchase order for the drive.
The company, which develops automotive and non-automotive transmission products, said pre-production testing of the drive is nearing completion with no issues being encountered.
The first units are due to go into production in December.
Antonov chief executive John Moore said: "Our initial purchase order with NZWL is an important step in bringing the Antonov technology to market.
"It fulfils our strategy of releasing the AMM into the mainstream automotive marketplace as a proven technology. As a result, the technology is now being considered for high volume applications
