Chromalloy announced today that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with TSI Aviation Inc. for sales and marketing of aerospace services and equipment to operators in Latin America.

"Chromalloy serves gas turbine engine operators in regions around the world with reliable, high performance parts, repairs and equipment," said Armand Lauzon Jr., President. "With this agreement, we now expand our full line of turbine component design and casting expertise to commercial and military aircraft operators across Latin America.

"Chromalloy parts and equipment have demonstrated outstanding reliability and performance on more than 90 percent of the engines powering today's commercial airline fleet," Lauzon said. "Operators can save significant costs off the price of original equipment manufacturer parts."

The agreement with TSI Aviation expands Chromalloy's Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) parts, High Pressure Turbine (HPT) blades and DER repairs to aircraft operators across Mexico, Central America and South America, Lauzon said.

The company has had representation in Brazil for several years and the new agreement covers all other countries in the region.

TSI Aviation serves as an aircraft maintenance agent for equipment manufacturers and service providers. The company based in Miramar, Fla., has offices in Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.

Chromalloy, a supplier of advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications, repairs, refurbishes and manufactures engine components.

The company also designs and manufactures PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) replacement parts for aircraft engines that are FAA certified to meet or exceed the performance, reliability and durability specifications of original equipment manufacturer parts.

Founded more than 50 years ago, Chromalloy operates 30 manufacturing and service centers in 14 countries.

In support of land-based applications, Chromalloy employs identical engineering disciplines used to produce its FAA-certified parts.
