NewMech Companies is pleased to announce Chris Olson as the new Vice President of the Power Division. With this addition, NewMech Companies continues to expand their Power Industry capabilities. Olson brings with him 28 years of experience in capital projects, maintenance, and operations management within the Power Industry. He spent 8 years as plant Director of Xcel's Sherco Facility, Becker, MN and also obtained knowledge at DTE Energy running the technical services for a 9000MW fossil generation fleet while managing an organization of 250 employees. This experience will be vital as he provides executive support to the construction of a 99 Mega Watt coal-fired combined heat and power plant in Spiritwood, N.D.
